Devious Journal Entry

Into week 4 of the placement and thus far there haven't been too many problems, although when I spoke to another intern to see if he knows the status of the workstation that was supposed to be set up for me, he said he thinks they have something already and it's likely that the boss just forgot, and that's why he didn't say anything until now. Truthfully I was sort of hanging back to see if I didn't get a message about it, although the boss is at the E3 conference and is basically away all this week so that's 4 weeks of time and I'm getting a bit anxious about working from home since it was originally discussed as a temporary thing. Not to mention I'm really not supposed to be doing commercial work with a student version of Maya. I've been avoiding tasks where UVs haven't been done yet as best I can, although I finally got a job where that's just not avoidable and I'm stuck between my boss wanting progress updates when he gets back from E3 and getting burned by autodesk if I go ahead and introduce student files into the pipeline.
